We go every year as a family and try the spiciest chips and drink the soda after that. It’s really mesmerizing to see all the varieties of candies we once had as a child and walk down the memory lane. I personally buy all the ginger candy varieties and my kids buy all the new stuff they see each year.

Love this place! Amazing experience to just walk through, though it would be impossible to not spend money. Treats I haven’t seen since I was a kid and I’m 72. The displays, scenes and super hero themes are out of this world. The bakery is phenomenal. I have a son-in-law from Turkey and he found candy from HIS childhood.

Very cool, and an amazing place to visit with your kids!! I went here when I was a kid with my parents and I loved it! Definitely recommend, you can also bring back some of the candies to home and i especially loved the taffy.!

Located about 45 minutes southwest of the twin cities, this loud, obnoxiously yellow, pop-cultured establishment is sort of a must see. Tons of candy, some imported from Japan and Germany, an immense selection of root beer and flavored sodas, and all sorts of nostalgic candy for any Gen-Xer.

Based on the name I was expecting a lot of candy, but this place blew me away. They also had a lot of sweet and salty snacks (some from foreign countries), many kinds of root beer, Harry Potter candy and butterbeer, cheese, local products such as soup mixes, puzzles… it was overwhelming. The decorations alone make this worth the visit- there’s a large Hulk, British phone booths, and the world’s largest jigsaw puzzle, among other things. The store also has clean restrooms, making it the ideal pitstop on a road trip, but plan on spending at least half an hour here, and probably more.

I was overwhelmed by how much they have in there. They layout is organized and checkout was a breeze. The only bummer is they don’t accept debit/credit cards, but they make sure you know that before entering the store. They do accept checks and cash and have an ATM inside. Glad to experience at least once. Would only go back if I am driving by it.

What a fun place! So much more than a candy store, with a variety of sodas, toys, candies, baked goods, food mixes…the list goes on and on! Candy ranges from local, foreign, and hard to find. Loads of fun looking around. Helpful staff (thank you, Kristine!). Be aware that it’s cash or check only. There are ATMs in the store.
